 Enjoy 10% off

Celebrating its eighth year, the Gold Rush event encourages outdoor recreation and fishing enthusiasm. As a special feature, 100 of these trout will carry numbered yellow tags. Anglers catching a tagged fish can submit the tag number online to enter a prize drawing.

Prizes up for grabs include a lifetime West Virginia resident fishing license, a one-night stay at a state park lodge for five lucky winners, and a $25 state park gift card for five additional winners. Every angler who reports a tagged catch during the event will also receive a gift bag.

Participation requires anglers aged 15 and older to possess a valid West Virginia fishing license, a trout stamp, and proper identification. These can be obtained at WVfish.com. Compliance with state fishing regulations is mandatory.
